WBS at the 2015 ASHRAE Energy Modeling Conference

M. Dennis Knight opens ASHRAE Energy Modeling Conference in Atlanta, Georgia

As Chairman of the ASHRAE annual Energy Modeling Conference, M. Dennis Knight, Founder and CEO of Whole Building Systems opened the event by introducing the prolific Dr. Story Musgrave, who gave the keynote address.  Musgrave who has had an extraordinary career including being a fighter pilot, a NASA astronaut, a trauma surgeon and has earned seven graduate degrees, encouraged the audience to seek out new opportunities and apply their life experiences to solve the complex issues we face today.

AHSRAE’s Energy Modeling Conference brings together experts in energy modeling and high performance building engineers, architects and building owners who seek to work together to share ideas and technology that will advance the goal of reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions.  Mr. Knight has served in the ASHRAE organization for over 35 years in a variety of roles and is currently an ASHRAE Fellow, Distinguished Lecturer and Chair of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Multi- Disciplinary Task Group.
