WBS Awarded in Charleston Green Business Challenge

Whole Building Systems reached the Palmetto Tier of the 2014-2015 Charleston Green Business Challenge.  The program provides scoring for how businesses are run along the following categories:  Energy and Water Stewardship, Waste Reduction, Green and Local Purchasing, and Healthiness in the Workplace.  

The program was able to document impressive environmental performance from the 70 participating companies in 2014-2015: 

• 47 million kWh in energy savings (~$200,000/year)
• >10,000 gallons of reduced total waste and ~60,000 gallons of increased recycling
• Water savings of nearly 750,000 gallons

 WBS is proud to contribute to these results and is excited to improve our rankings in the future.
